The shortage of technology and computer training has been a void in Chikumbuso’s education program for some years and could no longer be ignored. The lack of technology, computer training and insufficient student computer proficiency has become evident as we watch our students struggle to enroll in college both using applications on line and university searches. They also find it difficult to be the chosen ones in vocational training opportunities, or job opportunities due to lack of computer skills. Our objective for this project was to prepare a computer room for classroom and community use and to set up the women’s micro enterprise store in a new location. Photos in this album show the completed project with students using the computers to support and further their education.
